Solar electric
About solar electric projects
LightWorks’® solar electric projects and people aim to establish a world-renowned, highly interdisciplinary research and educational environment to achieve an energy-secure, environmentally sound 21st century.
Close synergy among academia, industry, utilities, government and policy makers will accelerate the creation and adoption of the systems necessary to realize terawatt generation of solar electricity and the workforce necessary to sustain this effort.
To accomplish these objectives, LightWorks®’ solar electric projects focus on photovoltaics, societal and economic impact, microgrids, distributed and utility scale generation and concentrating solar power.
