The COOP weather station has been housed at ASU on the Tempe campus since 1982.
The ASU Tempe weather station is located near Rural Road and University in Tempe, AZ. It hosts the longest continuously observed evaporation pan in Maricopa County. The station is run by ASU student volunteers and Station Manager Kayla McDonald.
