Greening Events Implementation Guide<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The SCN Greening Events Implementation Guide (aka Greening Events Guide) is a collaborative project of the cities of Phoenix, Mesa and Glendale via ASU\u2019s Sustainable Cities Network\u2019s Steering Committee. The Guide was created to help event planners host sustainable events in a cost-effective manner. Within the Guide, you\u2019ll find helpful ideas and sustainability actions suitable for public and private events, varying from green procurement and planning to waste management, measurement, and recognition.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n

Our goal is to help groups host more green, local events<\/span> that produce less waste, increase sustainability knowledge<\/span> , and lower the event\u2019s environmental impact<\/span> and while at the same time increase local interest and even exposure.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
