Strategic partnerships and collaborative action for local impact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Project Cities strategically partners with a diverse range of organizations across Arizona to bring impactful projects to local communities. By collaborating with local governments, educational institutions, and community organizations, Project Cities leverages a multidisciplinary approach to address pressing community needs. These partnerships enable the program to tap into local expertise, resources, and innovative solutions, ensuring that each project is tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities of the area. The result is a series of high-impact initiatives that not only address immediate community concerns but also foster long-term sustainability and resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Impact Water – Arizona<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Project Cities: Rural Water Decision-Making Framework<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Impact Water – Arizona directly funds projects and supports ASU faculty and staff in implementing engagement activities and developing use-inspired research and tools to address Arizona’s water challenges. Spearheaded by the Global Institute of Sustainability and Innovation, the program operates in partnership with the Kyl Center for Water Policy and the Decision Theater.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In March 2024, Project Cities organized\u00a0a multigenerational workshop\u00a0in the Verde \u200bValley, bringing municipal \u200bleaders, K-12 educators, and \u200bcommunity members within rural \u200bareas.\u00a0This unique event \u200bdesigned community-based projects fostering collaboration for a resilient water future. In fall 2024 and spring 2025, the projects will be executed by ASU students and community members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
