{"id":999218,"date":"2023-12-06T15:20:32","date_gmt":"2023-12-06T22:20:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/globalfutures.asu.edu\/lrdd\/?post_type=project&#038;p=999218"},"modified":"2023-12-06T15:20:59","modified_gmt":"2023-12-06T22:20:59","slug":"data-science-for-regional-economic-transformations","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/globalfutures.asu.edu\/lrdd\/project\/data-science-for-regional-economic-transformations\/","title":{"rendered":"Data science for regional economic transformations"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-container container mb-0 pt-6 pt-xl-12 mb-12\">\n\t\n<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-row row justify-content-between\">\n\t\n\n<div class=\"col-12 col-md-7 order-2 order-md-1\">\n\t\t\t\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading mt-0 mb-4\">Data science for regional economic transformations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This project fuses data science and complexity science to develop data-driven, decision support tools for regional planners.&nbsp; Whether a region is intentionally trying to transform its economy or is trying to rebuild from an economic shock, our goal is to help planners identify optimal transition pathways to a desirable and prosperous economic future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originally funded by the NSF as the MetroInsight platform, this growing suite of tools helps identify optimal industry targets for regional job growth.
