{"id":784,"date":"2022-10-11T13:56:45","date_gmt":"2022-10-11T20:56:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/globalfutures.asu.edu\/essa\/?page_id=784"},"modified":"2025-09-08T09:22:44","modified_gmt":"2025-09-08T16:22:44","slug":"mem","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/globalfutures.asu.edu\/essa\/mem\/","title":{"rendered":"MEM"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-container container mb-0 my-6 my-xl-10\">\n\t\n<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-row row\">\n\t\n\n<div class=\"col-12 col-md-6\">\n\t\t\t\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading mt-0\">Mutually Enriching Mentorship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mutually Enriching Mentorship faculty training program aims to enhance understanding on inclusive education on ASU\u2019s campus as it relates to the graduate student experience in STEM-related disciplines. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"uds-list wp-block-list\">\n<li>Would you like to build your graduate student mentoring skills with a community of other STEM-trained faculty? &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do you want to deeply engage with issues around inclusivity on campus? &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do you need help starting productive conversations about inclusivity in your lab and research?&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Graduate Student Designers from across ASU came together to generate over two dozen scenarios and learning opportunities to develop the cultural competency of ASU faculty. These scenarios are used in the MEM faculty training program to share, inform, and transform systems of inequality in graduate education and support students who have historically been excluded due to race or ethnicity. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you a faculty member interested in joining the MEM cohort for Fall 2023?
