Students learn alongside those making change, bringing their interdisciplinary skills to an integrated earth systems science: transdisciplinary, solutions and people centered, societally powerful, globally scaled, and just.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><span class=\"highlight-gold\">What is earth systems science?<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--uds-size-3);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--uds-size-3)\">It is the study of \u201cthe complex and interrelated physical, chemical, biological, and human interactions across the land, ocean, and atmosphere\u201d (US Global Change Research Program, 2012). It draws from disciplines in the natural sciences, social sciences, engineering, humanities, and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-content-justification-center is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n\t<div class=\"uds-button
